    Job Overview

     

    The Studio Photographer is expected to possess a high aptitude for photography. Food photography experience is mandatory.

     

    Ivie & Associates expects that the Studio Photographer will act at all times to assure the highest level of ethics, professionalism and personal performance possible.  He or she will work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals set by Ivie & Associates, and will contribute his or her utmost to assist Ivie & Associates in achieving its stated goals. Ivie & Associates, Inc. expects that all employees, including the Studio Photographer, to fully support Ivie’s position/relationship with its Clients. 

    Responsibilities

    The Studio Photographer is expected to:

    • Photographing projects that meet the brand imagery of our clients including silo, tabletop, food and room scenes
    • 360 Product Spins
    • Location photography
    • Functioning in a high-volume studio
    • Manage the production timeline for photography completion.
    • Maintain metadata standards used within the organization.
    • Maintain consistency of image naming.
    • Processing of all imagery in a timely manner to ensure client deadlines are met.
    • Assist with maintaining all photographic equipment to determine if repair or replacement is recommended.
    • Assist with maintaining prop inventory in the on-site studio.
    • Listen, learn and adapt to changes in the business needs of the organization
    • Contribute ideas for improvement for photography or digital asset management
    • Perform other duties as needed

    Education and Experience

    • Minimum of five years of professional photography experience in a commercial photography studio with proficiency using CaptureOne Pro (C1Pro) software
    • Degree in Advertising, Illustration or Technical Photography or equivalent experience is preferred.
    • Ability to speak, read and write in the English language
    • Working knowledge of studio lighting equipment.
    • Video experience a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Creative portfolio that demonstrates vision, execution and technical skills.

     

    System Skills Required

     

    • Proficiency with Apple/Macintosh computer platform and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop software.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.


    Travel

     

    • Travel as required
    • Temporary assignments (out-of-town)
