    Job Overview

    The primary role of the Project Manager Lead ("PM Lead"/"Lead PM") is to work onsite with the client, managing the execution of multiple, complex projects in support of the client’s marketing campaigns. The PM Lead will also supervise a team of Project Managers/Coordinators supporting marketing campaigns. Projects will span various media channels, including but not limited to, radio, digital and print. Projects will rely on the PM Lead’s guidance and expertise to work through the project life cycles. Leads will work closely with client to develop project timelines, including communicating key dates to all parties involved in the project. PM Leads must demonstrate a positive attitude and communication in this client-facing role.

    The Project Manager Lead is expected to: 

    • Support the client team in various aspects and stages of marketing execution.
    • Learn and enforce the client’s processes and approval workflows. Become the subject matter expert within the assigned category.
    • Execute full life-cycle project management for marketing campaigns, including (but not limited to) analysis of client project requirements, scoping, scheduling, approvals, timeline adjustment – including working with creative and production on-site teams as necessary.
    • Maintain regular and professional communication with both the client and client internal teams, and Ivie support teams.
    • Constantly manage client expectations, as well as those of other agency and vendor partners.
    • Act as an advocate and primary liaison between client and internal creative/production teams.
    • Work closely with internal teams and client Marketing Operations to create appropriate timelines, specs and RFQ’s. Clearly communicate those to client.
    • Supervise and lead assigned team. Responsible for interviewing, training and development of direct reports.
    • Mentor, demonstrate and empower critical thinking for direct reports and those from other teams. Facilitate conflict resolution as needed.
    • Identify potential risks; manage communication and change control processes when necessary.
    • Excellent decision making, organization, planning and problem solving skills, plus proven ability to identify, prioritize and escalate critical issues.
    • Demonstrate consistency across all project work and communication.
    • Provide Account Manager and/or client with real-time status on projects and as requested.


    Education and Experience

    • 4 year college degree
    • 2-8 years’ experience


    System Skills Required

    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Experience with print project management software



    • Travel as required
    • Temporary assignments (out-of-town)
