    Job Overview
    The Stylist is is expected to possess an aptitude for creating and executing against the creative direction.  The Stylist must understand and be aware of the Company’s (Ivie and Associates) production/design capabilities/processes, and an knowledge of industry standards and practices related to Photography in retail.  The Stylist must have the ability to multi-task and work with the client to coordinate project flow and deadlines.  


    Ivie & Associates expects that the Stylist will act at all times to assure the highest level of ethics, professionalism and personal performance possible.  He or she will work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals set by Ivie & Associates, and will contribute his or her utmost to assist Ivie & Associates in achieving its stated goals.  Ivie & Associates, Inc. expects that all employees, including the Stylist, to fully support Ivie’s position/relationship with its Clients.


    The Stylist is expected to:

    Collaborates and aligns with key client partners to ensure brand consistency and that the creative vision is met.
    Collaborate with the photographer and producer to bring together products, wardrobe, props, set materials, etc. to prepare for photo shoots. 
    Support studio productions in all aspects of styling from merchandise prep to styling execution.
    Research and present industry trends and innovation as well as report on aspirational trends.
    Support and coach freelance models.
    Create or suggest ideas for how to style different product types.
    Style apparel on models and mannequins as well as off-form stylized laydowns.
    Work in a fast-paced team environment to problem solve and meet deadlines.
    Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of color and style.
    High energy, positive attitude with the ability to develop and communicate ideas.
    Maintain an organized and orderly kit and work area.


    Education and Experience



    Retail, design or fashion merchandising experience.
    Proven on trend styling experience.
    Previous experience in a high volume commercial studio.
    The ability to use photo requests to conceptualize final imagery and collaborate with photographer to concept set plans.
    Is flexible in responding to organizational changes and business priorities.
    The ability to meet tight deadlines.
    Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills.
    The ability to take direction from studio management and learn quickly.
    The ability to use a garment steamer.
    Portfolio of demonstrable skills and abilities is required.
