Job Description

The primary role of the Account Coordinator is for direct Client contact and overall coordination of the Client’s marketing projects, as assigned by the Account Manager or Account Directors. The Account Coordinator will be in continual communication with the Client to understand all details of their projects. He/she should have the ability to thoroughly communicate the details of a project to on-site advertising specialists.  Responsibilities include omni-channel marketing project management and both on/off site relations with various clients.

Ivie & Associates, Inc. expects that all employees, including the Account Coordinator, to fully support Ivie’s position/relationship with its Clients. 

Responsibilities

The Account Coordinator is expected to:

  • Possess an understanding of omni-channel marketing tactics
  • Develop and manage project timelines and task list
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate services Ivie & Associates, Inc. provides to Client
  • Collect project specifications from the Client and accurately communicate those specifications to internal departments
  • Review creative material to ensure specifications match those requested and estimated
  • Route creative material to the necessary departments for execution
  • Interact daily with client to insure timely completion of projects
  • Communicate with the clients’ executives, directors and managers
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attend meetings as directed by the Account Director or Manager
  • Take diligent notes and communicate them effectively to ensure proper follow through
  • Assist in any other project assignments as approved through the Account Director or Manager

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
  • 4 year college education or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ experience in account coordination
  • Desire to continue education through conferences, networking groups, trade shows, seminars, special courses, etc.
  • Knowledge of omni-channel marketing tactics such as:
    • Traditional mediums such as TV, radio and out-of-home advertising
    • Digital mediums such as email, social, brand website, display and video
    • Commercial production, prepress and printing
    • Direct mail strategies and program execution
    • Circular production, direct mail, collateral and POS signage

 

System Skills Required

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management software
  • Ability to learn proprietary software


Travel

  • Travel as required
  • Temporary assignments (out-of-town)
