The primary role of the Digital Specialist is to successfully manage the Client relationship and their projects, from inception through delivery, on behalf of Client and Ivie.

Ivie & Associates expects that the Digital Specialist will act at all times to assure the highest level of ethics, professionalism, and personal performance possible. He or she will work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals set by Ivie & Associates, and will contribute his or her utmost to assist Ivie & Associates in achieving its stated goals. Ivie & Associates, Inc. expects that all employees, including the Walmart Senior Project Manager, to fully support Ivie’s position/relationship with its Clients.



The Digital Specialist is expected to: 

  • Develop and maintain positive and productive relationship with key Client contacts
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of Client’s business objectives
  • Identify process challenges and bring solutions to the Client 
  • Ability to understand and proactively identify opportunities for continued growth
  • Lead high-level meetings with Client’s leadership team
  • Schedule and lead regular planning meetings and provide detailed written confirmation/report
  • Adhere to established processes and procedures to insure timely and accurate delivery of Client’s services
  • Keep Ivie Management informed regularly of Client’s status
  • Ability to form strong relationships with key Client contacts and Ivie internal team 
  • Demonstrated motivation to continue to learn, develop, and expand in skills and knowledge
  • Participate in content-requirement discussions for web projects with Walmart project owner
  • Excellent project management experience with the ability to drive timelines and deliverables
  • Editing and publishing content
  • Strong communication skills including light writing and editing
  • UX familiarity as well as a base understanding of CMS
  • Onsite full-time FTEs with flexibility to attend Ivie meetings and activities as necessary
  • Have knowledge of industry trends and emerging web technologies

  • Layout, edit and/or publish or remove content and templates

  • Strong communication skills to write, edit and/or proof content as needed

  • UX and HTML familiarity as well as a base understanding of CMS

  • Coordinate and manage projects and requests with Walmart Project Owner and stakeholders to ensure optimal user experience for WalmartOne, Corporate Affairs managed external websites and other technology-focused properties ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope

  • Regular weekly status updates between Ivie and Digital Strategy and Brand Engagement team

  • Utilize project management internal tools to track and manage work

  • Lead discovery on requests to accurately plan projects, define project requirements and success

  • Handle multiple web projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, effectively manage priorities, and communicate progress to key stakeholders

  • Manage requests between cross-agency partners

  • Support web and graphic requests

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging web technologies

  • Other projects related to publishing, as assigned - other projects including but not limited to onsite support as required or requested which could be outside of regular working hours (i.e. Shareholders, Annual Enrollment, earnings announcements, natural disaster events)


Education and Experience

  • 4-year college education or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
  • 5+ years’ experience in retail advertising Project Management/Coordination
  • Experience with printing, and production
  • Agency and or related retail advertising experience desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint


  • Travel as required by Ivie Leadership
